FOR QUICK SPOOL VALVE USERS:
2 Options for Quick Spool Valve Control:
QSV control Option #1:
Mac Switching Valve Solenoid used to delay the opening of the QSV to allow it to further offer spooling gains. This is to be used in STANDALONE EMS Systems such as the ProEFI and AEM EMS.
QSV control Option #2:
Mac Switching Valve Solenoid and Hobbs Switch used to delay the opening of the QSV to allow it to further offer spooling gains. This is to be used in PIGGYBACK applications.
FOR BOOST ACTIVATED EXHAUST CUTOUT USERS:
2 options for Exhaust Cutout control:
Cutout control Option 1:
Mac Switching Valve Solenoid used to delay the opening of the Boost Cutout. This can be useful if the Boost Cutout is opening too soon for you and you want to keep noise down in the lower RPM range. This is to be used in STANDALONE EMS Systems such as the ProEFI and AEM EMS.
Cutout control Option 2:
Mac Switching Valve Solenoid and Hobbs Switch used to delay the opening of the Boost Cutut. This can be useful if the Boost Cutout is opening too soon for you and you want to keep noise down in the lower RPM range. This is to be used in PIGGYBACK applications.
Additional Boost Cutout note:
In addition to using the above Switching valve or Switching valve and Hobbs switch depending on your setup, these can also be used to wire a switch that keeps the Boost Cutout closed entirely throughout the powerband. This can be used for noise purposes or simply if you want to enjoy the exhaust note from your engine. The main idea is flexibility.
